I am a business owner and I want to make tax payments with AMEX.

Updated: Aug 5

Imagine you are a self-employed individual, a freelancer, or a contractor who relies on TaxReminders to keep track of the IRD's tax payment or filing due dates for GST, PAYE or Provisional Tax. Kudos to you for steering clear of expensive interests and penalties. While you can settle your IRD tax payments via credit card, IRD only accepts Visa or Mastercard (IRD charges a convenience fee of 1.42%).

However, what if you prefer to use your AMEX card?

Now, you have the option to make your tax payments with AMEX through RewardPay. By utilising RewardPay, you can benefit from AMEX Membership Reward Points or Airpoints. Additionally, you will receive up to an extra 50 days of cashflow for your business. From our experience, setting up RewardPay is really quick and easy. It charges a competitive fee of 1.67%.

If you are interested, please check out RewardPay here.

At TaxReminders, we want to make it easy for you to file or make tax payments on time, so you never pay expensive interests and penalties.
